| Introduction: | Yunnan Pagoda Black Tea is a speciality tea from Yunnan Province of China. Dian Hong, literally Yunnan Red, refers to the origin and type of tea and Black Pagoda refers to the type of tea and the fact that it comes in pagoda or tower shapes. This Dian Hong Black Pagoda has been tied together into tower shapes prior to drying. Each is about 2.5grams. After the leaves are dried, they retain this shape but once they are submerged in water, they open up to form a flower. The Dian Hong Black Pagoda is simply hand tied and the actual tea used to produce them is of a very high quality, yielding a cup of tea bursting with fantastic flavour. |
| Preparation Methods: | 1. Put one piece of the Yunnan Black Tea Pagoda into a warmed glass; 2. Pour into the glass 250ml 100°C water; 3. Brew for 1 minute for the first brewing, longer time for the following brewing; 4. The Yunnan Black Tea Pagoda stands up to three brewing. |
