Introduction:

White Peony Tea undergoes very little processing. Made from just the unopened silvery buds and the small, top one or two leaves it is picked in spring and gently withered to yield a refreshing, easy-drinking tea, full of soft fruit flavors and melon notes with a lingering sweet aftertaste.

White Peony Tea is probably the most common white tea in the market and most widely loved white tea. White Peony Tea has a wide range of price in the market with huge quality differences. The White Peony Tea shown here is sourced by ViconyTeas from the tea farmers in Taimu mountain in Fuding and made in the traditional sun-dried production way. You would find the White Peony Tea totally different from the widely available ones made in the large-scale industrialized way if you try it. The White Peony Tea is good for consumption in the current year of production but if stored for years, it would taste better.

Preparation Methods: 1. Put 3-4g the White Peony Tea into a glass;
2. Pour into the glass 100ml 100°C water;
3. Brew for 15 seconds for the first brewing, longer time for the following brewing;
4. The White Peony Tea stands up to three brewing.
Flavor \taste note: Smooth and mellow, it is cucumber fresh with soft fruit notes and a lingering, sweet aftertaste
Dried leaves: Made from 'one bud and two leaves' it has a mix of soft, plump needle tips and small, young leaves which are sage green on one side and pale with fine silvery hairs on the other
Liquor: Bright gold
Brewed Tealeaves: Tender green two leaves with one bud
