Introduction: |
Anji Baicha, or An Ji White Tea (in English), Anji refers to the place where it is grown: Anji county of Zhejiang province. Because of its Chinese name, Anji baicha is sometimes called as "white tea", but, classified by its production process, it is a green tea, not a white tea. The term white refers to the whitish color of the leaves, and the pale color of the brewed tea.
The Organic Anji Baicha is picked early April in a clean tea garden in the inner remote mountains in Anji county. The leaves are slender, delicate and a bright vivid green, the scent has notes of citrus and nuts, and the taste is a complex mix of tangy fresh and creamy soft. The liquor is a lively pale green with the bright clarity of a classic high-grown mountain tea. This Organic Anji Baicha can reach both EU and NOP organic standards, not easily to be found on the market. |
