Keemun Peony Tea (Keemun Mudan) is a kind of premium chinese blooming tea. Unlike other black teas, Keemun Peony Tea is made from only the young leaf buds. After the aging process, the tea is hand tied into small rosettes that bloom when steeped. Keemun Peony Tea has a rich, smooth flavor that will last through several infusions. One ounce contains 5-8 rosettes. Each rosette is capable of brewing 2-3 pots, or 6-8 cups of tea so just a little goes quite a long way.
