Flowering tea, also called blooming tea, blossoming tea or artisan tea, is a small bundle of dried tea leaves and flowers bound together with cotton thread into a ball or blossom shape. When steeped, the bundle expands and unfurls in a process that emulates a blooming flower. Typically they are made by hand with complicated skills. Its making process is time-consuming, requiring great effort.
