Introduction:

Lapsang Souchong originates from the Tongmu Village, Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, China. The Fukienese word 'souchong' literally means 'little variety' or subvariety. Lapsang Souchong has had a long history behind it. With more than 400 years of history, it was said that it was the world’s first black tea.

Laozong means "old tea bushes" in Chinese. The Bohea Lapsang Laozong Black Tea was made with the tealeaves harvested from the semi-wild tea bushes more than 30 years old in Tong Mu Guan where is the core Lapsang Souchong producing area as well as a Chinese national nature reserve. Tea made of the tealeaves from the semi-wild old tea bushes is rich in minerals, giving a very deep after taste, lingering finishing, thick taste and long lasting flavor. The Lapsang Laozong gives a completely different drinking feeling from those teas produced from tea gardens.

Preparation Methods: 1. Put 2g Bohea Lapsang Laozong Tea into a warmed glass;
2. Pour into the glass 100ml 100°C water;
3. Brew for 20 seconds for the first brewing, longer time for the following brewing;
4. The Bohea Lapsang Laozong stands up to five brewing.
Flavor \taste note: Mellow, fruity and flowery with long lasting sweet aftertaste
Dried leaves: Coarse and curled in black
Liquor: Bright reddish color with luster
Brewed Tealeaves: Reddish brown leaves
