Introduction:

Lapsang Souchong originates from the Tongmu Village, Wuyi Mountain in Fujian, China. The Fukienese word 'souchong' literally means 'little variety' or subvariety. Lapsang Souchon has had a long history behind it. With more than 400 years of history, it was said that it was the world’s first black tea.

The totally hand-made unsmoked Lapsang Souchon Black Tea was made with the tealeaves harvested from the Tong Mu Guan, the core Lapsang Souchon producing area as well as a Chinese national nature reserve, while it hasn't been dried with smoldering pine fire so it is mellow, sweet and flowery but not so smoky like the traditional types. The unsmoked Lapsang Souchon is a perfect choice for those who wish to try Lapsang Souchon while don't like its strong smoky taste.

Preparation Methods: 1. Put 2g Lapsang Souchon Tea into a warmed glass;
2. Pour into the glass 100ml 100°C water;
3. Brew for 20 seconds for the first brewing, longer time for the following brewing;
4. The Lapsang Souchon stands up to five brewing.
Flavor \taste note: Mellow, fruity and flowery with sweet aftertaste
Dried leaves: Slender and curled in black and gold
Liquor: Bright reddish color with luster
Brewed Tealeaves: Tender reddish brown leaves
