Introduction:

Lapsang Souchong originates from the Tongmu Village, Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, China. The Fukienese word 'souchong' literally means 'little variety' or subvariety. Due to its smoky aroma, many people assume that it tastes bitter. However ViconyTeas's Lapsang Souchong is not bitter at all. Sometimes the poor quality Lapsang Souchong even gives a sour after taste. Our Lapsang Souchong gives a strong dried Longan aroma, smooth drinking feeling and a slight stimulation when it passes though our throat thanks to the amber.

The supreme orthodox Lapsang Souchong is hand made by the historic and genuine manufacturer, sticking to the traditional method used until today. The tea is made with tealeaves harvested from the semi-wild tea bushes growing in Tong Mu Guan, an area seen as the core lapsang Souchong producing region as well as a national nature reserve, through the crucial drying process using smoldering pine fire instead of adding flavors commonly found in most of Lapsang Souchong.

Lapsang Souchong has an amazing characteristic. It is the BEST PARTNER WITH SCOTCH SINGLE MOLT WHISKY. Sip a little whisky and then try a cup of hot Lapsang Souchong. It is the perfect match to collaborate each other. You can't help drinking both until you completely get drunk!

Preparation Methods: 1. Put 2g Lapsang Souchong Tea into a warmed glass;
2. Pour into the glass 100ml 100°C water;
3. Brew for 20 seconds for the first brewing, longer time for the following brewing;
4. The Lapsang Souchong stands up to five brewing.
Flavor \taste note: Richly and smoulderingly smoky yet with great harmony and wealth of dried Longan aroma, leaving an impression of almost peaty warmth.
Dried leaves: Coarse and curled in black
Liquor: Bright reddish orange
Brewed Tealeaves: Broken reddish brown leaves
